Rory Forbes-Lange is the creative force behind Focus on Forbes Media, an international, award-winning photography business based in Sydney. Specialising in portrait, lifestyle, event, and branding photography, Rory is known for his ability to capture real, unscripted moments with a journalistic edge. His work is grounded in authenticity - delivering fresh, story-driven imagery that connects businesses and individuals with their audiences in a meaningful way.
With a strong client base that includes entrepreneurs, creatives, schools, publicists, and brands, Rory provides not just beautiful photos, but an experience built on trust, intuition, and ease. His sessions are intentionally relaxed, allowing clients to show up as themselves—resulting in photographs that feel natural, powerful, and personal.
Beyond his commercial work, Rory is a passionate visual artist. His fine art photography practice explores the relationship between land, light, and emotion, most notably through large-scale works featuring Sydney’s eastern coastline, as well as landscapes captured during his travels across Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Patagonia. His debut solo exhibition in Bondi celebrated the subtle drama and stillness of the ocean, waves, and rock formations, using photography as a medium for visual storytelling and connection.
